Records of Burials and Exhumations Holguin Municipal Cemetery 1925 to 1939
A resident of Holguín scanned the burial and exhumation records of the Holguín Municipal Cemetery. The collection runs to about 118 pages and roughly 3,361 names, covering the years 1925 to 1939. These records were previously available only on paper and are now digitized in HD. This post is part of a series, and further books covering a longer span of years will follow. The Holguín Municipal Cemetery is in the city of Holguín, Holguín Province, in eastern Cuba. It was inaugurated in 1814 and stands at the corner of Martí and Rastro streets, near the Carretera Central highway.
The book was transcribed by the public Telegram group Onomástica (join the Onomástica Telegram channel). Names appear in the same order as in the book. Fetuses were not added to the database, some records have no burial date, and the number column (No.) reflects the order in which a name appears rather than the "Num" column printed in the book.
