List of Immigrants from Canary Islands to Cuba 1800s
A list of over 15,000 records detailing travel records of individuals from the Canary Islands to Cuba (and some other Latin American countries, but most records indicate the destination was Cuba). We would like to thank the "Historia y Genealogía Hispanoamericana" blog for originally posting this list on their website.
The Cuba Research Project has consolidated all three volumes (I, II, and III) into a single PDF. We have put the file through Optical character recognition (OCR) and converted it into a searchable file. Please use the following Dropbox link to download the file:

These records appear to come from the "Archivo Historico de Teguise" from the city of Teguise, Las Palmas, Canary Islands, Spain. The Cuba Research Project is currently attempting to contact the Archivo Historico de Teguise to obtain more information.

"Los tres libros que registran una relación de las comandancias realizadas en Canarias, ha sido un trabajo personal que hicimos durante algunos años, recopilando datos de los distintos Ayuntamientos y de los fondos del desaparecido Museo del Emigrante de Teguise, en el que también participamos en su creación.
Para obtener datos de un pasajero registrado en esa relación hay que solicitarlo al Ayuntamiento del que era vecino en el momento del embarque.
Desde Teguise se le daría datos de los emigrantes que figuran en los tres libros que fueran vecinos de TEGUISE.
