According to the index (*[which can be downloaded by clicking here](/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/Indice-Pasajeros-de-Santander-Espana-a-Cuba-1900-1960.xlsx)*), the total number of passengers destined for Cuba between late 1900 and 1960 is 33643. These records are part of the Perez & CIA collection held by the University of Cantabria. Perez & CIA was founded in 1853 and has been in the maritime shipping business since that year. Perez & CIA helped found the Compañía Trasatlántica Española. The University of Cantabria in Spain has transcribed most (*but it seems like not all*) of these records and put them in a database.
