# Cuba Research Project

> Cuba Research Project is a searchable archive of Cuban genealogical and demographic records — civil, parish, cemetery, census, school and military records — published in English and Spanish. Every person named in a record is indexed and searchable by name, place and year, and the whole index is readable over a public, key-free REST API. Every page listed below is also served as Markdown to clients that send `Accept: text/markdown`, and has a permanent Markdown address under /md.

This file follows llmstxt.org. The site is bilingual: English at the root, Spanish under /es.
