The notices come from Diario de la Marina, Cuba's longest-running newspaper, and span 1868 to 1960. Each entry gives the date the notice appeared, so you can look up the original announcement in the digitized editions below. Reyes transcribed more than 47,000 names by hand, so a few are missing.

A note from Reyes: the cemeteries recorded as Cementerio General, Cementerio de San Lázaro, and Cementerio General de San Lázaro are all better known as Cementerio de Espada.
