About the Source

We have added to the list every individual where the country of Cuba is mentioned. This means that while over 90% of the buried individuals in this database are natives of Cuba, sometimes, the individual may not not have been, and instead the record mentions that they were married to a Cuban person, or that they were residents of Cuba, etc.  The “other information” column explains whether this is the case. The “page” column indicates the page number corresponding the register where the individual record may be found.

Keep in mind that this is likely NOT a complete list for many reasons, for example, sometimes the record is silent about the country of origin of a decedent. Furthermore, all the records seem to come only from the city of Kingston, Jamaica.

The records in this database were procured from a much bigger list of records transcribed by Patricia Jackson of JamaicanFamilySearch.com; as mentioned above, this database only show records that mention Cuba. Our most sincere thanks to Patricia Jackson and JamaicanFamilySearch.com
