Please note dates in this database are in the: Month / Day / Year format.
The list itself was copied from a book compiled by a cemetery worker who copied these names from burial licenses (licencia de enterramiento)
This list should be complimented with our previously uploaded database: Spaniards buried in the Holguin Municipal Cemetery from 1925 to 1946. Some of the names appearing in that list overlap with some of the ones found in this one. Sometimes, names are spelled differently, we assume this is because the transcribers interpreted the names differently.
This database also includes, in some cases, the name of the mother and father as well as the marital status of the decedent.
Please note that immigrants, specially those to Spanish-speaking countries, would often hispanicize their names and therefore the names found in this list may not correspond with the names assigned in their home country.
